Home Infusion nurses are the liaison between all parties taking part in the patients’ care. For medications like intravenous Anti-infectives, SCIg, TPN, Inotropes and any other medications that may require self-administration in the home, thorough education is needed is needed to ensure patient is able to safely administer treatments without the constant presence of a health care provider.
